Day Trip to Luxor & Balloon Flight & Felucca

Day 1/ Our representative will pick you up from your accommodation in Marsa Alam at 5:00 am to take you to Luxor. Enjoy the 4-hour drive in a comfortable private car. After arrival, you will enjoy an Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant before starting your trip in Luxor. The first adventure in Luxor is the Luxor Temple, which was built over hundreds of years by Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamun and other pharaohs and was the largest and most significant religious center in ancient Egypt. The next stop is the Karnak Temple, a huge temple complex, to which dozens of pharaohs added their own constructions. Karnak was not only a temple dedicated to a single god – it contained not only the main temple of the god Amun-Re, but also the temples of the gods Mut and Montu. Compared to other temple complexes that have been preserved in ancient Egypt, then the driver will take you to the hotel booked for you in Luxor so that you can rest. At sunset, the driver will pick you up from the hotel again to take a felucca cruise on the Nile and then have dinner in the restaurant. Finally, the driver will take you back to the hotel where you are staying. Day 2/ Our representative will pick you up early in the morning (please check out in advance and take your luggage with you). The driver will take you to the hot air balloon launch site, the place where the magic and fun begin. Enjoy watching as the balloons are filled with hot air and rise into the air. Enjoy the majestic view of the city of Luxor, the largest open museum in the world, from the air, fly over the beautiful temples and enjoy a very special point of view. After this unforgettable experience, our representative is waiting for you to explore the west bank of Luxor, the city that was once the capital of ancient Egypt. The adventure begins in the Valley of the Kings, also known as the great necropolis of the millions of years of the pharaoh or the place of Truth, with 63 magnificent royal tombs, all very different from each other. Then we continue to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, who admired the temple of Mentuhotep II and had her own temple built according to his model, but on a much larger scale, just in case someone should miss the comparison. At the end of the tour you will visit the huge colossi of Memnon and take some photos. On a camel ride through the villages, you will get closer to the Egyptian culture and learn how the locals live and work the land traditionally. After a long trip in Luxor, you will enjoy an Egyptian lunch before our driver will take you back to Marsa Alam and drop you off safely at your accommodation in Marsa Alam.
